Dr. Steven Estrella of Shearspire, Inc. has created the MakePages Clamshell
Menu as
a memberware product. You must be a member of MakePages.com to
use the MakePages Clamshell Menu on your Web site.
Here is a sample menu embedded on this page using the MakePages Clamshell
Menu. The file below accesses an XML text file to determine the menu
items.
Instructions
This simple Flash application will work on any Web site. Just follow
these simple instructions.
Decompress the file using Stuffit Expander or UnZipIt.
You will see a new folder called MakePagesClamshell.
Edit the text file called MakePagesClamshell.xml to change
the links shown in the menu.
Upload both MakePagesClamshell.xml and MakePagesClamshell.swf to
the same folder in your Web site.
Use Dreamweaver, GoLive, or any good Web development program
to embed MakePagesClamshell.swf in any of your Web pages.
Caution: Be sure that the xml file and the swf file are in the
same folder as the html file. Otherwise, the swf file will not
be able to locate the xml file.
Thank you for supporting MakePages.com.
I hope you enjoy using the MakePages Clamshell Menu on your
Web site.
