Cardigan Middle School Model Site

Greetings. I am Dr. Steven Estrella. As part of the MakePages.com site, I have developed (with superb assistance from Karen Garrett) a model site for music teachers learning to create simple Web presentations. The site provides details on a fictional middle school music program at an equally fictional middle school known as Cardigan Middle School. Your assignment is to recreate the site using Dreamweaver. You are allowed to copy the graphics, sounds, and CSS files from the model site. You may also copy the text from the rendered pages but please don't cheat and copy the code from the View Source window. Below is a picture of how the files you will create should be organized on your hard drive.

There are several files you will need to download before you can begin work on the 13 HTML files. Please right-click on the links below to download the following to your hard drive. Organize the files into a folder on your hard drive called "cardigan" like the one shown in the picture on the right.

• All the sound files, Flash files, and 1 HTML file are listed here.

Once you have the above files, you can begin using Dreamweaver to create the HTML files.
